Following Pit's dynamic reappearance last night at Nintendo's 3DS-focussed press conference, Nintendo has released some screenshots, information, and a trailer of Kid Icarus: Uprising for 3DS.

Having not appeared in a new Kid Icarus game since the NES and the original Game Boy, Pit shouted "Sorry to keep you waiting!" as he debuted into the new handheld world.

Uprising is a mix of both soaring aerial combat and ground-based shooting, using your bow and arrow to dispatch Medusa's foes. While gliding about the cloudy world with your angelic wings is the best way to get around, you can only fly for a limited period of time.

It features all the characters and sights we remember from that ancient 8-bit game including Princess Palutena, the heavenly environments and, of course, eggplants.
