Ever played Icy Tower? We're told it's been a big hit on The Web, although that's what every mobile publisher says when they sign a licensing deal to bring a web game to mobile.

Still, there's no reason to doubt Hands-On Mobile, which has snapped up the mobile rights to Icy Tower on the strength of its 10 million downloads online.

Like the web version, the mobile game will involve climbing as high as possible up the titular tower, leaping from ledge to ledge without slipping down. You get rewards for double and triple jump combos, and a bonus if you get to the top of each level within a time limit.

Hands-On promises a choice of characters, secret levels and two difficulty modes.

The question is whether people who loved the web game will want to play it on mobile all over again, and whether people who've never heard of the original will be attracted by the generic-sounding name.

Still, ten million web users can't be wrong, so it should be a good game. It's due out this summer, so click 'Track It!' for an alert when we review it.
