Hugh Laurie’s grumpy, limpy, geniusy doctor House has been wowing audiences on both sides of the pond for years now, so it’s about time someone figured out a way to convert the formula to mobile gaming.

House M.D. is out now on all carriers, and it seems the switch to gaming has been a surprisingly natural one (if you employ a little suspension of disbelief).

Each patient is a unique puzzle, with seemingly contradictory symptoms and plummeting health, and it’s up to you to find the solution.

From the looks of it, this involves plenty of grid and icon-based play. Like House himself, you’re not alone in your task, as you can assign Foreman, Thirteen, and Taub to perform diagnostic tasks.

Check the video here, and look out for our review to see if House M.D. is a stroke of genius or whether it limps badly.
