High Strangeness to bring string theory, multiverses, and talking cats to iPhone
Highly strange 12bit adventure incoming
Waking in the middle of the night to find your home overrun by ghoul-like floating figures might seem odd, but for our hero Boyd it's only the beginning of the strangeness.
High Strangeness is an action-adventure title coming to iPhone later this year, which harks back to the glory days of the NES and SNES. 12bit pixel-art and chiptune soundtrack ahoy.
Boyd's reaper-infestation problem soon leads him to the strange world of the Shadow Men, opening up a whole can of worms revolving around "a cosmic battle for peace throughout all universes".
It's not called High Strangeness for nothing.
The below video shows recently released footage from the Xbox Live Indie Games version, although the iPhone edition is bound to look very similar - most likely just a different interface and control scheme.
High Strangeness will be hitting the iPhone some time in 2010.
