So, if you were asked to name your favourite pop act or rock band you're probably unlikely to say Hannah Montana, star of the US Disney channel TV series most adults have probably never heard of. But that doesn't necessarily mean that her forthcoming rhythm game isn't going to be worth checking out.

The teenager has already starred in one DS game that featured all the normal teenage girl things, such as designing clothes, making friends and using spy gadgets to make sure no one reveals her true identity as a world-famous pop singer.

Hannah Montana: Music Jam concentrates less on day-to-day life and more on her secret pop career and enables you to create songs using a range of instruments such as guitar and drums, as well as make music videos. DS wireless support is utilised for you to share your creations with friends and also team up for a jamming session, with each player on a different instrument.

We're relatively confident Guitar Hero: On Tour for DS has nothing too much to worry about, but you never know. Music Jam's already out in the US but is due for release here sometime in April. In the meantime, you can check out the first batch of screenshots above.
