Wild west tower defence game Guns ‘n’ Glory out now on mobile
HandyGames puts a mighty purdy spin on a familiar genre
HandyGames has just released its new game, Guns ‘n’ Glory, onto mobile. It puts an interesting spin on the popular tower defence genre.
"What makes this game unique in the Tower Defence genre” says Markus Kassulke, CEO of HandyGames, “is the combination of freely moveable units and the cool, fresh Wild West setting."
As part of that fresh setting, HandyGames has opted to cast you as one of three infamous outlaws - Billy the Kid, Jesse James, or Butch Cassidy - and tasked you with becoming “a real, low-down bad guy.”
This amounts to forming your own gang and lying in wait to ambush settlers, stage coaches, and even a gold train. If it looks like they’re going to escape, you’ll have to set off in pursuit to ensure they don’t warn the Sheriff.
Once you’ve plundered enough cash you’ll be able to purchase impressive new weapons, such as a cannon or a Gatling gun-equipped steam train.
