Bargains galore for Xperia Play and Android gamers in Google's 'Longest Day' sale

Google is holding a special one-day sale on its app store to celebrate the longest day of the year, and while owners of common-or-garden Android phones are well catered for, there are a couple of bargains that Xperia Play owners should grab, as well.

On the Xperia Play side of things, the cream of the cheapened crop is the Silver Award-winning Grand Theft Auto 3, which you can pick up for just 69p / 99c.

For the same price, you'll be able to snag Gameloft's World of Warcraft-aping MMO Order & Chaos Online. That means you get the game and three months of play time for less than a packet of moderately cheap biscuits.

Of course, you can buy all of these for your regular Android phone, too, and pick up Clouds & Sheep Premium, Mini Motor Racing, and the universe-conquering Draw Something for everyone's second-favourite price: 69p / 99c.

Our advice would be to head over to the Google Play Store as soon as possible. The longest day of the year may be long, but it's not going to last forever - and neither are these deals.
