The first add-on for Fishlabs's Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning Galaxy on Fire 2, Valkyrie, is now available to download from the App Store in glorious high-definition for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2.
This expansion pack, which managed to nab its own Silver Award at review, takes place directly after the events of Galaxy on Fire 2.
So, you're thrown headlong into another impending crisis involving ruthless aliens, merciless space pirates, and power-hungry wretches.
If you've already pre-ordered Apple's new iPad or you're planning on camping outside one of the Cupertino-based company's stores for one, you'll be pleased to read that the Valkyrie expansion - plus all versions of the main game - are all already optimised for the forthcoming tablet's Retina display.
