Some background info.
TatLabs is a indie game development team of two: a developer (me) and a graphic designer.
Our mission was to create a version of the traditional Connect 4 game that brings back the joy of playing it, as we did when we were kids. Actually, we went several steps further. We managed to create two versions in one game: classic and pop. In addition, we wanted to maximize the game play area. Instead of the traditional 6x7 board we used the incredible 10x7 board! The difference, comparing to the traditional board size, is night and day.
All these we combined with beautiful graphics and clean UI. Our aim was to enable also young children to be able to play the game with ease.
You can play the game (both classic or pop mode):
- in single play mode with five levels of artificial intelligence
- with friends (via Game Center, pass 'n' play or wi-fi / bluetooth).
We made sure that the artificial intelligence is done in the right way. Younger members of the family can also enjoy the game as well as trained, more experieced players.
Last but not least, Connect & Pop has beautiful music that is specially composed to elevate the play even further! You should check it out it is really cool!

One more thing: the game is universal and specially tailored for iPhone/iPhone 5 and iPad layouts using excellent retina graphics.
