So, I get five pounds "free" downloads from 3 every month, which I obviously spend on games. With this month's credit about to expire - and, stupidly, browsing the 3 store whilst watching the Test - I opted for KP's Cricket.

Anyone else got this? I geneuinely can't fathom out how to bat properly, so tips would be appreciated.

Hello, Stu here. I don't really have any tips as such, other than persistence pays off - I couldn't bat for toffee for quite a while, but suddenly it seemed to fall into place. Timing is part of it - I remember that the moment you think you should press the button is abit off - you either need to try hitting a microsecond earlier or later than your intuition tells you...

Hmm, you said that so much more elegantly in the review Stu.

I guess it's like a Virtua Tennis thing? (I've not played KP). Virtua Tennis seems almost psychic at times. Maybe it's all done with smoke and mirrors!
