Please turn off "Notify me when a reply is posted" default

Just a small request, I donot like to subscribe to threads I post in by default.
I have noticed that that option is switched on as a default.
Can it be switched off instead or is that a user option preferences? *checking* .

Sorry about this, it's a bug as best I can tell which we're trying to iron out. (See thread further down this Suggestions/Feedback sub-forum).
