Adding platform in subject text on previews/reviews.

It would make things easier if the title of a thread for a preview/review would contain what platform a game is, as I oinly really look at the DS reviews/previews.

Hi Dansk, do you mean on the forum or on the main site?

We have debated doing it on the main site, but it seems somewhat redundant in listings when you go into the DS section. The story should have the format and editorial type above it in [] brackets.

You can read only DS stuff if you work out of this tab:

And you can subscribe to only RSS for DS.

Yeah, as you say it's easy enough to filter it on the main site, but since you have the same reviews on the forum and they're all in one forum, it's not possible (as far as I can see with the optios available) to filter the list by platform.

I am guessing that the forum software you are using now is a feature of the portal software you are using and you have just recently switched it on, and the reviews/previews are referring to records you previously created and now are referring to as forum post records.

It's no biggie really, I can just exit to the main site and filter it there, but an option to filter out posts in the preview/review forum by platform would be nice.

I also subscribe to your RSS using igoogle anyway.

Ah, okay, I see what you're saying. I don't really know if it's possible or desirable for us to be honest, although I can see the utility from your POV if working of reviews on the forum rather than the main site. You're right also in that we hav loads of pre existing records...

I think on balance I'd like to leave this one as is for now, and see what others think over time (and also have the existing bugs fixed first! ) But will keep monitoring the situation.
