Help needed with PSP GPS, region issues and Skype

I have just joined your group as a senior surfer
I have a PSP which I use on my travels to while away the time and was delighted to find out that Sony have added a Sat Nav device to the PSP menu and my questions and comments r as follows
1 ) I cannot find anywhere any advice about the availability/release date or

2) I am off to the USA next week and if the Sat Nav is available there I would be tempted to buy it

3) With regional limitations of the umd's will I be able to buy maps of the USA any where in the world or will I have to buy another PSP (which of course I will not do)

4) Do Sony and in fact all GPS manufacturers believe we Europeans only travel in our own neck of the woods ??

5) Sony UK and all of the PSP stockists do not appear to have any info on the sat nav application

6) I also use Skype and again very few of the stockists including Sony's own shop know which head set is suitable for use with Skype
I would be obliged if you could answer any or all of the above queries especially the GPS
since I am leaving for the States on Monday 14th April for 3 weeks and would love to be able to buy the system if it is available

How do u delete a conversation history on skype without having to delete the contact? Hey, I had a conversation with someone on skype and he is one of my contacts. But I don't want somebody else to read our conversation bcs me and that somebody else we use the same skype account but he can see that I have the contact in my list of contacts but I don't want him to read the conversation we had... How do I delete the conversation without deleting the contact?
