What kind of Wii controller do I want to use with Mario Gala

My bro got a Wii fro christmas, I am getting him some games and stuuf for a b-day present. He wants Mario Galaxy 2. Should I get him a different controller too? The Wii Classic controller, Wii gamecube controller or just use the regular Wiimote?
