What are we all doing for Halloween?

I know that I am getting a bit old for this, but here in Germany Halloween is sort of a new thing (they have their own similat occasion called 'fasching' which they celebrate in Feb) and the novelty levels are still high for adults and kids alike.

Thing is, I am headed out to some sort of fancy dress bash this eve and I have no idea what to go as nor any time to go out and buy anything.

So any ideas about how to make a fast and awsome costume out of typical household items would be much appreciated.
