iPod gaming on the Up?

It's all been pretty quiet on the iPod gaming front post-launch (and let's face it if it had been a huge success we'd have heard about it, Jobs and co aren't the modest types) and I must admit to being slightly sceptical about trhe concept and especially the slightly lazy launch line up.

However, in recent weeks thing have really started picking up with EA announcing new games, Gameloft also lining up a few of their best mobile titles and best yet the arrival of iQuiz which actually plays to the iPod's strengths (i.e. music) and is really rather brilliant.

All of which seems to suggest that the iPod gaming scene could be about to get moving...all we need now are some sales figures

I agree. As I said in the iPhone thread, iPod gaming is looking like it's going to become a major platform.
