Ok first thing's first, Nokia's decision to go the development platfrom route for the new N-Gage is a great one in my opinion. It solves quite a lot of the problems presented by fragmented OS systems and phone power etc.
Having said that, wouldn't it be nice to have the option of a dedicated bit of hardware for running the platform on? And by that I mean something more suited to gaming than the N81 (which in all fairness doesn't look too bad).
A new N-Gage pastie handset wouldn't compromise the core idea of the new platfrom, it would just offer more dedicated mobile gamers that plan to buy some of the more involved titles something that won't require them to sprout new hand joints to operate.
