What causes the steel shafts of golf irons to rust? Also, i would like to know how to prevent this within the future as i am considering buying anohter set of golf irons. Thanks.

Hmm, I'm not sure Golf is strictly a pocket gaming pursuit. Handheld gaming maybe, in so much as you carry the necessary weapons of the sport with your hands, but certainly not pocket. As for the rust thing, have you tried WD40?
