Yeah, we all get Angry Birds and the whole trajectory physics thing.

But what can up-and-coming developers do to be a little bit different?

That's what Irish startup Tribal City, together with development partner Mad Toro, has been considering - they've come up with Flip the Switch.

Centripetal force

It's a trajectory physics game, but instead of catapulting animals, you're spinning them around in a circle and then flicking them outwards at just the right point to bounce around the various levels, collecting coins and landing on the switches that will reward you with another level to attempt.

There are six animal characters to fling around 70 levels, which are arranged across three themed worlds.

Flip the Switch is available now for iPhone and iPad, priced 99c, €0.79 or 69p.
