Mobile games these days are constantly changing experiences as developers tweak settings, add features, and tinker with the price of their apps.

Indeed, in the case of Flight Doodle, all three things have happened in one go.

The latest update adds a mode in the shape of the All Out option, which strips out enemies, getting you to hunt down star power ups to gain a record height.

Wind animations and a new balloon companion have also been added.

Easier, peasier

In terms of tweaks, the game now supports second generation iPod touches and iPhone 3G, while the difficulty has been eased as the falling objects fall slower and the default tilt sensitivity has been increased.

OpenFeint support has been improved too with a global leaderboard button.

And perhaps most important is that in conjunction with the FreeAppADay website, the iPhone game has gone free, at least for all day Friday September 17.

So there's no reason not to check it out.
