Final Fantasy IX announced for PSP
Classic series continues to get portable
With Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII the two best selling titles on PSP to date, it comes as no surprise that Square Enix are bringing the next in the saga to the Playstation console.
ElectricPig spotted the news posted on one of the official Square Enix Twitter feeds. The tweet links to a video clip, in which Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada confirms that the ninth instalment will indeed be gracing the PSP and PS3.
Final Fantasy IX is one of the more renowned FF outings, scoring the highest ratings on Metacritic of the whole series.
Given that parts seven and eight are both £7.99 a piece, it's fair to assume that number nine will receive a similar price tag.
