iOS 5 - the operating system feature bump for up-to-date iPhones, iPod touchs, and iPads - is now available to download, and it comes with about 200 or so nifty new features to enjoy.

Apple's iCloud service lets you store a perfect replica of your iOS device on servers around the world, so you've always got a backup of your App Data and you can effortlessly share content between different devices.

The Big A gives you 5GB of storage for free, but if you're not careful you can quickly exceed this limit. Take, for example, video player VLC, which will upload any massive media files in the app's library to the cloud, which is not necessary when they're backed up on your PC.

To find apps that are taking the Mickey with their backup size, hit Settings> iCloud> Storage & Backup> Manage Storage, and choose the device you want to investigate. Here you'll find a list of apps and the amount of data they're storing in the cloud.

Simply disable any big, bloated apps - like Zinio, where your e-magazines are stored safely on Zinio's servers anyway - from uploading, to keep your iCloud limit in the green.
