Simultaneously safeguard a girl and her crow in upcoming iPad platformer Fea: Clash of the Avian Minion
As the crow flies
Fea: Clash of the Avian Minion may look like just another 2D platformer for iPad - but that's because you can't see its challenging control system.
You control both the cloaked girl and her crow companion at the same time.
You'll need to move the crow up and down to collect coins and power-ups. As for the girl, you'll have to help her jump over pitfalls, and tap rapidly to get her through difficult terrain.
Looking at the gameplay trailer, it seems like trying to dodge bats, evade fireballs, and leap over pits might get your brain in a bit of a muddle.
You'll probably be thankful for the rewind feature, then. You can't abuse it this lifeline, though, as you'll have to restart the level if you die too many times.
Fea contains nine levels to run across, featuring forests, caves, and enemies. The enemies you'll meet (and sometimes battle) are based on Irish mythology, which should give it an even more distinct spin.
Expect Fea: Clash of the Avian Minion to arrive in Spring 2014 for iPad. If possible, it might be best to play with a friend if you're struggling.
