Duckshot mobile game migrates to Europe
We suspect fowl play in Hands-On's newie
Press reports are suggesting that the reason Prince William split with girlfriend Kate Middleton was that her mum wasn't posh enough, signified by – and we're not making this up (though the tabloids might be) – her saying 'toilet' instead of 'lavatory', and 'pleased to meet you' instead of 'how do you do?'.
Breaking into the Royal Family requires absurd levels of etiquette (well, that or a big rope, hammer, crampons, and a floor-plan of Buckingham Palace, of course). Why, you won't even get a civil word out of Prince Philip until you've shot 68 wildfowl in cold blood.
Fortunately, Hands-On Mobile has a game that might help with that last bit. Duckshot involves blasting ducks away with a bally big gun, earning collectible hunting stamps as you progress, while solving puzzles to upgrade your weapon.
We reported on the game when it was announced in the US just before Christmas, but Hands-On has just revealed plans to release it over here too. It's coming too late for the Middletons, but we think the classic duck-shoot gameplay should work well on phones.
