Driver Renegade 3D coming June 2011, new info released
Action is set between Driver 1 and 2
Driver Renegade 3D is hitting the Nintendo 3DS in June.
As spotted by 3DS Tribe, the Ubisoft 3DS site has been updated with screenshots and details of the upcoming action racer.
The story will follow John Tanner, an undercover cop who decides to take the law into his own hands after New York City becomes too corrupt for its own good.
You're tasked with taking out five kingpins, including a drug dealer and a human organs trafficker. It all sounds rather intense, with urban car chases aplenty and a Rage bar for unleashing devastating takedowns on enemy cars.
The game will feature a full open-world environment, in which you'll be able to pick up a whole host of jobs, from destroying criminal setups to hunting down and ramming your opponents.
The action is set part way between the events of Driver and Driver 2, and will include more than 20 missions, 50 cars, and 70 challenges, including Time Attack, Elimination mode, and Road War.
