Death Road to Canada focuses more on its iOS release
Now that AORTA's out of the way, that is.
So this may not be a release post about the anxiously-awaited Death Road to Canada, but it is a means for celebration as Rocket Cat Games has officially started working on the iOS version (mostly) full time.
In a previous forum post, Kepa, a Rocket Cat Games representative, stated that once the AORTA update for DRtC was completed and pushed live without a hitch, they'd start working on the mobile release more fervently. According to the developers in a post yesterday, the time has finally come.Gigantic new update out, the AORTA update! New rare traders, new unique characters, new weapons including AIRHORN. https://t.co/pk1Mo8yxJk — Rocketcat Games (@rocketcatgames) January 30, 2017
"There were no major bugs with AORTA, so it's iOS time. 95% iOS time. Another 3% is stuff that isn't absolutely required for mobile, but would be really nice to happen at the same time. Mostly the new progression system I've been wanting to do, the current one could use some improvements." says the Rocket Cat rep.
Fingers crossed we won't have too much longer to wait before we hear the pitter-patter of little Testflight feet. Though, apparently the timing of the game's release depends mostly on Apple's scheduling, not necessarily the developer, so it's hard to actually predict a release date. As always, we'll keep you updated.
