Upcoming Unreal Engine 3-powered first-person shooter DaVinci THD to be first Tegra 3 game
Renaissance-based
At the beginning of November, Nvidia officially announced its all-new quad-core Tegra 3 chip, which is both more powerful and less power intensive than its predecessor, the Tegra 2.
The first Android game to take advantage of Nvidia's new processor is upcoming Unreal Engine 3-powered MMO DaVinci THD: a Renaissance-based first-person shooter.
This game tasks you with blasting away your foes and recovering the highly sought-after DaVinci Machine, which is up for grabs following the Italian inventor's death.
Nvidia's quad-core chip allows for dynamic character lighting and gamma correction for "more realistic lighting calculations" in DaVinci THD, and for interaction with scene objects.
Unfortunately, we don't currently have a release date or an expected price for DaVinci THD. Check out the video below, though, and we'll keep you updated with any new information.
