D4DJ Groovy Mix's Japanese server has launched its latest collaboration with popular anime series The Eminence in Shadow
The Japanese version of the mobile rhythm game D4DJ Groovy Mix has announced its next big collaboration, this time with the popular anime series The Eminence in Shadow. This collaboration comes with four new collectable characters as well as a variety of different handouts and rewards campaigns too!
D4DJ Groovy Mix, for those of us less familiar with the project, is a mobile game rendition of the multi-media project that is D4DJ. This has run from anime series to games and other various media, and revolves around a large cast of primarily female characters who sing different songs and experience the highs and lows of the music industry. Think something like Idolmaster and you’re not too far off.
Groovy Mix specifically is a mobile game spin-off of this project that utilises gameplay akin to something like Guitar Hero. There’s a multi-lane alley that runs down the middle of the screen, and on each lane, various notes will come falling down. Your job is to tap or hold each of these notes and try to aim for a high score.#???? × ??????????????????????

As for this new event, the primary big addition is the four new versions of different Groovy Mix characters, all inspired by the dark fantasy anime. First up is Iris Midgar, who is teamed up with the anime character Kyoko Yamate to make for a sword-wielding badass version of herself.
Next, we have Alexia Midgar and Inuyose Shinobu who wield fiery blades. Then, we have Sasago Jennifer Yuka and Alpha, who are adorned in a dark villainous outfit emitting dark energy. To complete the villain theme, Esora Shimizu and Beta combine to create some awesome-looking dark versions.
