Cool Clash is a characterful fighting game for iOS that's been 4 years in the making

Foxy Robot is a developer so dedicated to hand-crafted animation that its first title took four years and over 3,000 frames to make.
The end result of all that endeavour is the cartoony fighting game Cool Clash.
Perhaps the most impressive element of Cool Clash, however, is the diversity of playable characters. There are spheres with mohawks; furry fighters; vampires; robots; and even a pirate.
Each of them has its own unique moves, voices, personalities, and K.O. screens. You can save those knockout screens and share them with friends, by the friends.
Compared to the majority of fighting games out there, Cool Clash does, admittedly, seem quite slow. But it's being touted as a game of precision and combos. The jumping kicks apparently require supreme accuracy, for instance.
Rounding off the Cool Clash package are four difficulty modes; a survival and championship mode; and some Game Center achievements.
Cool Clash is now available at the special launch week price of £1.99 / $2.99 [buy]. There is a lite version [download] available, too, mind. The iPad version of the game is currently in the works.
