Captain Tsubasa: Ace is gearing up for a global open test soon

DeNA, the minds behind titles like Pokémon Masters EX and Dragon Quest The Adventures of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds, have just announced a testing phase for their upcoming game, Captain Tsubasa: Ace. It is a football game for mobile based on the popular anime series, Captain Tsubasa. Android users will get to experience the thrill early as a playtest is coming soon to Google Play.

This round of testing for Captain Tsubasa: Ace aims to give players a taste of the exhilarating experience that awaits them. Players will be able to take control of beloved characters such as Tsubasa Oozora, Kojiro Hyuga, and Genzo Wakabayashi, each with their own special moves. Some of the iconic story moments return as well, so expect to engage in some high-octane showdowns.

Thanks to the official IP rights, the game will be able to recreate iconic match moments in 3D, giving players full control over all the characters on the pitch. Classic storylines loved by all will be revived, allowing fans to experience passionate soccer moments while being in the driving seat.

If you haven’t heard about the franchise before, Captain Tsubasa is a Japanese manga created by Yoichi Takahashi. It tells the story of a talented football player named Tsubasa Oozora.
