WP7 tower defence game Bye Bye Brain lurches into view
Hello happiness
As we get closer to the launch of Microsoft's much-anticipated Windows Phone 7 we're likely to see dozens of games emerging from the shadows to join the 63 already announced. Bye Bye Brain is the latest.
Drawing together the casual staples of tower defence and zombies, Plain Concepts's Bye Bye Brain looks in some ways fairly generic. Zombies are streaming in, and you have to hold them off by strategically placing units in the playfield and upgrading them with credits.
The devil is in the details, though, and a few touches make Bye Bye Brain a promising prospect. For example, the action is broken up by mini-games, and instead of basic unit types you have five distinct characters to command, each with a names and a personality.
Neatly, when you tilt the screen the camera angle tilts with you, giving the impression of 3D. There's also Facebook and Twitter integration. What there isn't, at this stage, is a price or release date.
