Noodlecake Studios has a reputation for developing and publishing some rather fine iOS games.

You'll find one of its company stamps on Lunar Racer and Super Stickman Golf, to name but two.

And the next game off the Noodlecake publishing production line is Wegrass Interactive's soothing puzzler Block Block Block.

Match Match Match

As you might have guessed from the title, the game is about matching three blocks of the same colour together.

You need to match the blocks together in a set number of moves, sliding the different squares around using as few moves as possible.

Naturally enough, things start off pretty simple in Block Block Block. Slowly but surely, mind, the dev introduces puzzles with moving blocks, multiple colours, and other more challenging elements.

There are over 200 puzzles for you to solve, each of which is presented in a unique and minimalist style. Think classic puzzler aesthetic mixed with neon-tinged modernism. Yep.

If things get too tough for you, you can bring up the dynamic hint system. That will point you in the right direction if you get stuck or confused.

Block Block Block should be out in the UK and US at midnight tonight. Even better news: it's free. Hurrah.
