Gamevil throws Baseball Superstars 2011 onto iPhone

A sport popular throughout the world... ahem, Cuba, Japan, Korea and the US, baseball's season - the World Series - is over, which is an odd time perhaps for Gamevil to release Baseball Superstars 2011.

Still, with 12 million downloads to date, the series is obviously popular.

Loaded bases

This, the third of the super unrealistic cartoon take on the sport, features enhanced graphics, additional customisation in terms of game settings, players, stadium and turf, and six different game modes including League and full Season options.

And should you wish to test your newfound batting skills against random strangers from across the world, boot up the Match Play mode and count the homers with delight.

Baseball Superstars 2011 is available now for iPhone, priced £2.99, $4.99 or €3.99.

You can see how it plays in the following video.
