The arrival of Mortal Kombat X this week got us thinking: which video game characters would be able to beat up which other video game characters? This question has never satisfactorily been answered, so we thought we'd throw it open to you, the insightful general public, to decide. Round 1, Ryo vs Raphael

The fighting joke runs up against the joking fighter here. Ryo may have started as a bit of a gag by SNK, poking fun at two of Capcom's most famous World Warriors, but he's more than come into his own since his inception.

And he'll definitely give Raphael - the coolest and rudest of the heroes in a half-shell - a run for his pizza. That said, Raph does have those lethal Sri blades...
