Not so secret any more, then

Explore Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom's mysterious, whimsical world on 3DS in November

Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will have you exploring its titular mysterious kingdom within the Land of Ooo on 3DS this November.

You'll be playing as both Finn and Jake from the Adventure Time cartoon series as they encounter entirely new (and presumably wacky) creatures and characters.

Unlike other Adventure Time games, The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will be played from a top-down perspective.

It's a mixture of action adventure and maths-based puzzles that we're told is "reminiscent of early high fantasy console games."

Third time's a charm

It was publishers Little Orbit and Cartoon Network that announced the upcoming 3DS game.

This is the third time they have worked together with developer WayForward on a game adaptation of the Adventure Time series.

If you need a reminder, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! was the first. While Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd you steal our garbage?! was the second game from the trio of companies.

As well as 3DS, Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will also be coming to Steam for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 this November.

Keep an eye on Little Orbit's Facebook page for more details and the game's first screenshots soon.
