Roid Rage is a fast-paced arcade blast for Android from Butterscotch Shenanigans
Juice up
Butterscotch Shenanigans games always feel like they're made with love.
Quadropus Rampage and Towelfight 2: The Monocle of Destiny are big silly games that are clearly put together by people who love gaming.
And Roid Rage is no different. Well, it's a bit different. That's because it's a tiny arcade blast of asteroid-dodging fury. Still, that passion seeps through every pore.
Roid Rage is the first in a series of "Butterscotch Minis" that the team is making on the side while crafting its next biggie, Crashlands.
Roid Rage involves your leading a spaceship through an asteroid field and grabbing glowing clouds of "juice".
You tap on the left of the screen to turn left, and tap on the right of the screen to move right. And that's it.
You're basically just chasing high scores here. But there's a creamy compulsion loop at the core of the game that compels you to keep trying again and again and again.
Roid Rage is out on the Google Play Store right now, and won't cost you a penny.
