Retro City Rampage storms onto the 3DS in North America on Feb. 6, comes to Europe later in the month
Pixelated sandbox goodness awaits
After a year of tweaking and finessing, the 3DS is set to receive its port of the Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning Retro City Rampage this week.
That is, if you live in North America - when it hits the eShop on Thursday, February 6 at a price of $10. Europeans will need to wait until February 20 for their release.
We heard it was coming later in the year - but apparently Vblank Entertainment doesn't believe in waiting.
Grand Theft eShopIn our review of the Vita version, we called Retro City Rampage "a lo-fi GTA-'em-up" that's steeped in humour and plenty of varied gameplay.
Speaking to Polygon, RCR creator Brian Provinciano said he considers the 3DS release "the definitive version" of Retro City Rampage due to the changes and enhancements he's included in it.
So be sure to check this one out if you have one of those nifty Nintendo handhelds in your possession and you've been waiting for a chance to engage in some old-school, sandbox crime sprees.
