Roll out with the Autobots in Mobage's forthcoming Transformers-themed card battler

If the recently released Fall of Cybertron demo for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has whet your appetite for all things Transformers, this article may excite you.

Social gaming publisher DeNA is bringing an all-new card battler to mobile devices - presumably iOS and Android - via its Mobage social gaming network that will allow you to wage war with Optimus Prime, Megatron, and the rest of the infamous robots in disguise.

In this virtual card game, you'll take control of either the Autobots, who are fighting to protect Planet Earth; or the Decepticons, who are out to plunder its energon resources.

Regardless of the side you choose, you'll be competing in three-on-three battles and utilising weapon cards to boost your chances of domination.

We don't quite know when Transformers Battle will be out (it's yet to be given a release date), but we do know that it'll likely be the first Transformers-themed mobile title of many, thanks to an exclusive three-year deal between DeNA and Hasbro.
