Samsung files appeal against Apple's recently granted Galaxy Nexus injunction
|

If you've been following the ongoing legal battle between Apple and Samsung, you'll be aware that Tim Cook's Cupertino-based tech company has been granted a preliminary injunction against its arch-rival, which could lead to the banning of Samsung's Galaxy Nexus handset in the US.

Now, according to FOSS Patents, South Korea-based Samsung has filed an appeal with the US District Court.

Samsung will use this appeal to attempt to overturn Apple's injunction by arguing that the ban is "inconsistent with the Federal Circuit's directive that market share losses must be substantial" and directly caused by an infringing feature rather than general sales of an infringing device.
