Retailer listing hints at Midnight Purple 3DS from Nintendo

If a listing on US retailer Sam's Club is to be believed, Nintendo may be on the verge of releasing a 3DS packing a whole new colour: Midnight Purple.
Naturally, this listing, which prices the handheld at $168.58, could be completely bogus, but with Nintendo looking to give the 3DS an extra push, new variants of the console aren't unlikely.
Sam's Club doesn't have an image of the purportedly forthcoming handheld, but we presume it'll look exactly like every other 3DS on the market, albeit with a dash of purple.
