Can they stand the test of time/Google’s IP police?

New batch of emulators arrive on Android Market, includes Game Gear and NES

Long-time emulation coder Marat Fayzullin - whose previous work spans an impressive three platforms including Windows, Symbian, and PocketPC - has now brought his selection of emulators over to the Android Market for the first time.

These include (deep breath), iNES, MasterGear, VGB (Game boy), VGBA, Speccy (ZX Spectrum), fMSX, and ColEm.

We haven’t had a chance to check out how well the emulators perform, but given the systems are relatively old we expect they’re not going to be too shabby.

All emulators are currently available on the Android Market for $1.99 and run on Android Froyo or later. Given Google’s recent clampdown on the sale of emulators on the Market, you might have to be quick if you want to grab it through official channels.
