Delivery times for Apple's iPad 2 have been extended ahead of today's 5PM launch.

Originally promising a shipping window of two to three weeks, Apple's UK online store now quotes between three and four.

Customers are also said to be receiving email order confirmations with an estimated time of arrival for their device some time in April.

While venturing out last night to photograph the 3DS's midnight launch Pocket Gamer's own Richard Brown bumped into two eager Apple fans outside an Apple store in Kent - queuing a respectable 17 hours early to get their hands on an iPad 2.
