Sonic Colors speeding onto Nintendo DS this year

Sega may have delayed the upcoming release of Sonic 4, but that hasn't stopped it announcing yet another Sonic title for this year.
Sonic Colors is coming to Nintendo DS late 2010, and follows our spiny hero as he once again attempts to foil one of Eggman's devious plots.
This time around you'll be racing through an amusement park, built on a planet populated by an alien race called the Wisps.
These creatures have a special 'Color Power' which Sonic can absorb to pull off special moves, like drilling through the ground or firing a laser.
These powers can also be strung together to increase Sonic's boost and fire him off at ridiculous speeds.

Sonic Colors will be released on Nintendo DS some time this year.
