Spirit releases untethered jailbreak for iPhone, iPod and iPad

These so called 'untethered' hacks remove that headache, allowing you to restart your iPhone or drain your battery without needing a PC or Mac to get running again.

Spirit is also impressive for running on the latest firmwares, allowing you to jailbreak an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad even on OS 3.1.3. The iPad compatibility is still in beta, and the development team warns that some downloaded software might screw up your magical tablet.
