iPhone game Sperm Killer's title censored in the US but not UK
Wanks but no wanks
Despite Apple's stringent rules on naughty App Store content, developers are still pushing the boundaries and seeing what they will and won't get away with.
Enter the latest contestant, Sperm Killer, which sees you battling sperm and viruses by catching them in condoms. It all takes place, presumably, somewhere in a woman's anatomy.
The app, which is restricted to 17-year-olds and over and features mature themes and sexual content according to Apple's description, features a purple personified condom-man holding three dead sperm in its icon.
Strangely enough, the app's name and description is censored in the North American App Store, but not in the UK. While we see Sperm Killer, our American friends see S***m Killer. The logo in the game iself, however, is kept uncensored.
According to developer Andriy Dzyben's description, "Playing Sperm Killer you'll get tone [sic] of fun and thoughts about safety sex will come into your head."
Lovely.
