Eliminate now available on the App Store
Free online shooter locked and loaded for international release
After months of anticipation, online first-person shooter Eliminate has finally been released to the App Store.
The free-to-play game launched over the weekend in Canada, but has since launched in other territories including the US and UK today.
While Eliminate comes with a very attractive free price tag, you're more than welcome to spend a little money on energy packs purchased from within the game. These optional power-ups allow you to get back to earning experience sooner than if you wait for your energy to recharge manually.
ngmoco has confirmed early reports that in-app energy pack purchases may not be working in some territories, but claims any issues will be smoothed out in the next few hours.
"If you see 'sandbox' or 'test user' in your in-app purchases it's okay," the company wrote in a post on Twitter. "It will be a few hours for in-app to come online."
The worldwide release also comes after accusations of cheating arose following the initial Canadian release. "We are aware of cheater reports in Eliminate. A server-side fix will go live Sunday night."
As promised, the anti-cheating measure was implemented in advance of the game's international debut today.
Eliminate is available now on the App Store for free.
