Glu is also publishing two mobile games based on this summer's Olympic Games, as part of its distribution agreement with Sega.

The first, Sonic At The Olympic Games, sees everyone's favourite speedy blue hedgehog rounding his friends up for a sportfest.

Events included are 1500m, 400m Hurdles, Triple Jump, Discus Throw and Javelin, with playable characters including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy.

It'll be followed by Beijing 2008 – The Official Mobile Phone Game of the Olympic Games, which will be a full multi-event Olympic game.

Expect four events: 100m, Hammer Throw, 200m Individual Freestyle (swimming) and Table Tennis, with 32 nations to represent.

We had a quick go on Beijing 2008 at the recent BREW 2008 show, and it was shaping up nicely, so we're keen to see if it wins gold medal status when the final game arrives.
