Majesco primes DS release stream for 2008

Plenty of companies love the DS, but small US publisher Majesco really lurves it with kisses and everything.

It's just unveiled its 2008 line-up which features around half a dozen games to be released before the end of October. Among them were several that we already knew about but weren't sure about release dates. There's also a brand new PSP title on the cards.

On DS, Majesco will be publishing Mega Brain Boost (which should require little explanation), the anticipated shoot-'em up Nanostray 2 (pictured), Cake Mania 2, veterinary game Pet Pals: Animal Doctor and environmental adventure Eco Creatures: Save the Forest. All these are planned for the US, with the company looking for European partners for release over here.

The new PSP game is Blokus Portable: Steambot Championship, which combines the popular Blokus board game - in which you place Tetris-like blocks without like-colours touching one another - and anime characters from the Steambot Chronicles series.

With that many games being primed for release, there's got to be at least one you'll be interested in, and we'll certainly have more details on all of these nearer to their individual releases dates.
