My Dog II woofs onto mobile

First shots and info on I-play's virtual dog sequel

My Dog II woofs onto mobile

I-play's My Dog was one of the first Nintendogs-inspired virtual dog games to appear on mobile, although it's since been followed by a veritable pack of rivals. Now I-play's announced the sequel, My Dog II.

The publisher claims it'll be the most advanced mobile pup yet, with improved canine artificial intelligence and more than 200 different moves, some of which don't involve messing all over the floor. The game will also have new locations, including a shop and a park.

You'll see proper progression in your pup as it grows into an adult dog, and you should be able to teach it dozens of tricks, which it'll then ignore or show off the exact opposite of what you asked it to do, whenever it fancies.

Oh, and there's also an innovative new feature where you'll be able to take a photo of yourself or a friend using your cameraphone, and then appear in the game as a character. Now that's got us quite excited.

It's looking very nice from the screenshots, so click 'Track It' to find out more about My Dog II when we receive more details from I-play.
