HeroCraft has announced plans to bring 2D PC casual game Crimsonland to mobile.

We have to admit, the original hasn't been on our radar, but the publisher's description has certainly got us intrigued. According to the press release, "it isn't just a game, it is an injection of pure adrenalin right in your brains!" We're eyeing our mobile a bit warily after reading that.

Anyway, the game is a shoot-'em-up that sees you butchering hundreds of "infuriated" spiderlords. (We're not sure why they're angry – perhaps you've just had a spring clean and dislodged them from their cosy nest behind the telly?)

Crimsonland: Mobile Massacre is due out in September and will have 40 levels, ten different bonuses to collect, 40 kinds of monsters and two game modes to play – Quest and Survival – with a global hall-of-fame to showcase your high score.
